In recent years, as the global shipbuilding and shipping industry accelerates its intelligent and green processes, technologies such as digital twins and industrial software are reshaping the entire lifecycle of ship design, manufacturing, and operation. In the context of deep interconnection between ship systems and external networks, maritime and ship network security issues have evolved into global challenges. The introduction of China's "Action Plan for the Development of Intelligent Ships (2024-2030)" and the IMO Ship Network Security Guidelines aims to promote the dual track parallel development of industry digitization and security capabilities. Its network security protection capabilities and industrial upgrading needs have shown unprecedented strategic coupling.
To promote the high-quality development of the shipbuilding industry, the "2025 Maritime and Ship Network Security and Digitization Conference" is scheduled to be held in Shanghai on May 29, 2025. This conference is hosted by the Science and Technology Committee of Putuo District, Shanghai, the Shanghai Information Security Industry Association, and the Shanghai Shipbuilding Industry Association. With the theme of "New Future of Safe Shipping, Gathering New Momentum of Ships", relevant associations, shipowners, shipyards, classification societies, ship design institutes, network security and digital information solution providers, experts and scholars are invited to share and showcase practical experience and innovative technological achievements, explore cutting-edge security concepts and industry development trends, promote the intelligent transformation and upgrading of the maritime and shipbuilding industries, and promote high-quality development, as well as industry cooperation and exchanges.
